Midweight Interior Designer Role Summary
A Midweight Interior Designer is required for a vibrant, design-driven Interior Design and Architecture studio in West London. The team is fun, collaborative, and rapidly growing, with a reputation for crafting elevated interiors for private clients and developers across the UK and internationally.
You’ll bring strategic design thinking, a confident creative voice, and a passion for delivering beautifully curated, well-considered spaces. With strong involvement in FF&E, procurement, and interior fit-out, this role suits someone who can pair conceptual flair with strong organisation and supplier knowledge.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the design industry with a relevant qualification
- Strong client-facing experience on high-end residential projects
- Confident in Photoshop, AutoCAD, MS Office and Estimac
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to present work professionally both physically and digitally
- Experience managing budgets, procurement, installations and client relationships
- Ability to compile finishes schedules, design schedules and joinery packages
- Experience handling fit-out teams, contractors and on-site delivery
- Strong product and supplier knowledge with genuine enthusiasm for interiors
- A proactive, collaborative mindset and a positive influence on studio culture
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing full interior schemes, bespoke joinery and FF&E concepts using CAD, Photoshop and InDesign
- Creating and presenting digital and physical design packs to clients and the team
- Managing your own projects, pitching to clients, overseeing fit-outs and delivering high-quality work
- Producing detailed specification schedules for lighting, finishes, sanitaryware and more
- Collaborating with the wider team and supporting during busy project phases
