Summary of Part II Architectural Assistant Role

Join a prestigious Architectural and Interior firm in West London as a Part II Architectural Assistant to assist the team and grow your experience on high-end residential and hospitality projects. If you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an architectural office, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a strong interest in prime luxury projects, we want to hear from you. Part II Architectural Assistant Role Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning drawings for statutory approval authorities
  • As part of the team, creating technical drawing packages and transforming design concepts into comprehensive technical drawing packages for construction
  • Create technical 2D & 3D design solutions using AutoCAD and traditional methods
  • Collaborate with Consultants and Manufacturers for product selection in construction details
  • Record meeting notes and events as required
  • Prepare photographic, SketchUp, and 3D visuals to assist the Technical Director
  • Create standard and typical details as directed
  • Contribute to the detailed design process for small schemes and space planning layouts

Requirements for this Part II Architectural Assistant Role

  • Must be part II qualified, with ideally a minimum of 2 years working in a high end Architectural or Interiors practice on residential and hospitality
  • Ability to sketch by hand in 3D and 2D technical details
  • Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD with ordered layering systems and overlay drafting using Xrefs
  • Strong interest in technical development of bespoke details
  • Ability to use Revit would be a bonus, so if relevant please mention this in your application
