Education & Sports Projects | £30,000 – £40,000 | Hertfordshire | Permanent | Revit | Flexible Hours | 9-Day Fortnight

A well-established and design-led architectural practice is seeking an experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to join its collaborative team in Hertfordshire.

The Role

You’ll become a key member of the St Albans team, contributing to the design and delivery of education and sports projects across multiple RIBA stages.

Working closely with architects, designers, and an in-house sustainability team, you’ll help develop high-quality, user-focused spaces that prioritise the needs of students, educators, and wider communities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support concept design through to technical delivery on education projects
  • Produce and coordinate drawings and 3D models in Revit
  • Contribute to design development and stakeholder engagement
  • Assist with technical detailing, materials research, and presentations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including sustainability specialists
  • Contribute to low-carbon and socially responsible design strategies

About You

  • Qualified Part II Architectural Assistant with relevant UK project experience
  • Strong Revit proficiency (essential)
  • Passion for education and sports architecture
  • Interest in sustainable, low-energy design principles
  • Confident communicator with strong teamwork and organisational skills
  • Proactive, motivated, and eager to develop within a collaborative environment
