HAUS Careers is proud to be working with a highly respected North London architecture studio to recruit a talented Part II Architectural Assistant with a passion for beautifully crafted luxury residential design.
This established, design-led practice has built an exceptional reputation for delivering bespoke private homes across the UK. Known for its thoughtful approach, technical precision, and refined aesthetic, the studio creates timeless family residences tailored to some of the country’s most discerning private clients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a design-conscious and technically capable Part II to develop their experience within a collaborative and highly detail-oriented environment, working across exceptional new-build and refurbishment projects.

The practice is a close-knit team of around 30 architects and designers, recognised for its strong design culture and collaborative working environment. Projects are approached with care, sensitivity, and a genuine focus on quality, with every home designed to feel bespoke and enduring.
The studio offers a social and supportive atmosphere with excellent transport connections, genuine progression opportunities, and hybrid working available following probation.
The Role
You’ll support senior architects across multiple high-end residential projects through a variety of RIBA stages, contributing to both design development and technical delivery.
The role offers excellent exposure to complex private residential commissions, including concept design, technical packages, planning presentations, and consultant coordination. While the studio works primarily in Vectorworks, training can be provided for the right individual — a strong design eye and willingness to learn are equally valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and delivery of luxury residential projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Assist with concept design development, technical drawing packages, and detailing
- Produce presentation materials for client meetings, planning applications, and design reviews
- Support project coordination with consultants and wider project teams
- Contribute to technical and construction information under the guidance of senior architects
- Assist with bespoke detailing and carefully considered design solutions
- Participate in collaborative studio discussions and project reviews
About You
- ARB Part II qualified (or international equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year of UK architectural practice experience
- Previous experience within the luxury residential sector
- Strong portfolio demonstrating refined design sensibility and attention to detail
- Good technical understanding, particularly across RIBA Stages 3–4
- Experience working across multiple project stages
- Vectorworks experience preferred, although strong CAD skills and willingness to learn will also be considered
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative
- Conservation or heritage project experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience producing presentation material for planning or competitions would be beneficial
- Fluent English and full right to work in the UK
