We are working with a forward-thinking, design-led architectural studio seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join the team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to ambitious, varied projects in a collaborative and supportive environment, while continuing your professional development towards Part III.
The practice works across multiple typologies including high-rise residential, masterplanning, hotels, commercial offices, workplace interiors, high-value private homes and complex refurbishments. Working on projects across such a wide range of scales offers excellent exposure to both design innovation and technical delivery.
The Role
As a Part II Architectural Assistant, you will support project teams throughout all stages of design and delivery, gaining hands-on experience and mentoring to progress towards Part III. Your responsibilities will include:
Contributing to design development and producing drawings and visualisations
Assisting with technical documentation and detailing
Coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors under guidance
Attending site visits to support project teams and gain practical experience
Collaborating closely with senior staff and supporting project delivery

About You
Part II qualified (or soon to qualify)
Strong design flair and creative thinking
Competent in technical drawing, detailing, and presentation
Confident hand-sketcher and digitally capable
Eager to take responsibility, learn, and contribute actively to projects
Software skills:
AutoCAD – essential
Revit – desirable
SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or other 3D/visualisation software – advantageous

Studio Environment
The culture is supportive, social, and hands-on. The role is office-based (five days per week), with one day working from home available after probation.
