Our client, a high-end architecture practice, specialising in the design and construction of bespoke residential homes, is expanding and seeking a PR and Communications Manager based in North London.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic, creative, and experienced professional, ready to lead and elevate the firm’s brand presence across all channels.

The Role

As the PR and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing a sophisticated marketing, PR and communications strategy that builds on this reputation and attracts high-calibre clients, and positions the practice as a recognised award-winning design practice sought out by clients and professionals who aim to create the finest town and country houses. This is a key role with direct influence on how potential clients and industry perceives the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine the consistent tone of voice and visual identity to reflect their company values and appeal to their target audience, familiarising self with the work of their branding agency.
  • Review of existing collateral to ensure consistent tone (documents, brochures, other marketing materials)
  • Drive client growth and brand awareness by leading creative marketing campaigns, producing engaging content, and growing their digital presence across SEO, email, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Build and manage PR relationships with luxury and architecture and interiors media, securing high-profile editorial coverage, interviews, and features.
  • Identify and foster partnerships with like-minded professionals and network of external collaborators, and estate agencies to enhance cross-promotional opportunities.
  • Provide monthly reporting on marketing performance, PR coverage, and ROI to senior leadership.
  • Communications across the board, collaborating with Senior team on BD to ensure consistent output and messaging.
  • Initially working closely with Senior Associate to become familiar with the company branding.
  • Manage industry award submissions and applications to showcase and elevate the brand’s achievements.
  • Plan and coordinate networking events to strengthen industry relationships and brand presence in conjunction with Business Development.
  • Identify and secure speaking opportunities for senior leadership team.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing, PR or Communications role within a luxury-focused or design-led industry (architecture or interior design).
  • Strong network of press and media contacts in the luxury, interiors or architectural sectors is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sophisticated visual and aesthetic sensibility.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently and with discretion.
  • Experience using CMS systems, email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp), and social media scheduling tools.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign and Photoshop
