Production and Logistics Co-ordinator Role Summary
A high-end design studio celebrated for its refined interiors is seeking a Production and Logistics Co-ordinator to join their team. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all products are produced, managed, and delivered to an impeccable standard. The successful candidate will act as the link between creative plans and day-to-day operations, ensuring all products are produced and delivered to the expected standard, ensuring high levels of quality, efficiency, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Supplier Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with fabric mills, furniture makers, and other production partners.
- Coordinate production schedules, ensuring agreed lead times are met and quality is upheld.
- Track supplier orders, addressing delays or quality concerns proactively.
- Support new product development by liaising with suppliers on samples, materials, costs, and feasibility.
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Oversee stock levels across warehouse and production partners, ensuring accurate digital records and timely replenishment.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and maintain a well-organised, efficient stock management system.
- Use appropriate digital tools to ensure warehouse processes align with the studio’s premium standards.
Logistics & Fulfilment
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping, managing courier and freight partners.
- Ensure all packaging and fulfilment processes reflect the studio’s high-end brand identity.
- Work with the Sales & Product Manager to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
- Resolve fulfilment and delivery issues promptly to maintain strong client satisfaction.
IT and Systems Support
- Maintain and optimise stock management and logistics software.
- Manage e-commerce backend workflows and integrations between sales and logistics systems.
- Generate reports—such as stock levels, production timelines, and fulfilment performance—to support strategic decisions.
- Provide IT-related troubleshooting and contribute to continuous operational improvements.
Collaboration & Internal Support
- Partner closely with the Sales & Product Manager to align production and stock with sales demand.
- Support senior creative leadership with insights on production feasibility, timelines, and supplier capability.
- Provide regular updates on stock, production progress, and logistics to the wider leadership team.
The Successful Candidate:
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple moving parts.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in stock management, logistics, and e-commerce systems.
- Confident with spreadsheets, reporting, and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communicator, able to build strong relationships with suppliers, couriers, and colleagues.
- A practical problem-solver who balances quality with commercial considerations.
- Experience in production, supply chain, logistics, or operations within interiors, fashion, or luxury goods is desirable.
