Project Architect Role Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Architect to join a progressive and design-led architectural practice based in Blackfriars, London. This role would suit a capable architect with 3-5 years’ post-ARB experience, a solid grounding in residential and mixed-use schemes, and a flair for contemporary design. You’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects, supporting and leading teams within a collaborative, creative studio environment. ArchiCAD proficiency is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver residential and mixed-use commercial projects from concept through to completion.
Oversee design quality and project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.
Manage project workflows and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and wider stakeholders.
Mentor junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative working culture.
Use ArchiCAD confidently to develop and deliver detailed, robust design solutions.
Maintain positive client relationships and contribute to future project opportunities.
About You:
3-5 years’ post-ARB experience, ideally gained in residential and mixed-use commercial sectors.
Strong design skills, demonstrated through a high-quality portfolio.
Proficient in ArchiCAD (essential).
Comfortable leading small teams and managing project stages independently.
Excellent communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
ARB-registered, with RIBA membership preferred.
Benefits:
Salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, paid monthly in arrears.
24 days’ annual leave (rising with length of service), plus bank holidays.
Hybrid working: one day per week working from home, subject to agreement.
5% employer pension contribution after probation.
RIBA membership fees covered.
