HAUS Careers is representing a design-led architectural studio looking for an experienced Project Architect to work on beautifully detailed, high-end private homes across the Home Counties and selected projects further afield.
This is a growing practice with a strong design identity and an impressive portfolio of bespoke new-build and heritage residential schemes. The team is collaborative, ambitious and quietly confident in its approach — balancing considered architecture with practical delivery.
The Role
You will lead your own residential projects across all RIBA stages, from early concept through to completion on site. The role offers genuine autonomy, within a supportive and design-focused team.
Run projects independently across all RIBA stages
Develop and deliver high-quality architectural solutions
Coordinate consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers
Attend client meetings and site visits as required
Ensure strong technical delivery and attention to detail
This is a hybrid position, with 2–3 days per week in the Hambleden studio, alongside site and client meetings depending on project needs.
About You
ARB-qualified Architect with strong UK residential experience
Proven ability to manage projects independently
Excellent technical knowledge and detailing skills
Strong working knowledge of Vectorworks or AutoCAD
Confident communicator, organised and self-motivated
Comfortable working flexibly and taking initiative
Experience on high-end private residential projects in the UK is essential.
We’re also open to hearing from experienced Technicians or newly qualified Architects with strong technical ability and site experience.
