About the Role
An award-winning AJ100 architectural practice in central London is seeking a confident and capable Project Architect to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading projects, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality design across all RIBA stages.
You’ll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion, working across sectors such as commercial, mixed-use, education, or residential. This is an excellent opportunity for an architect looking to step up and lead the day-to-day design and delivery of complex schemes within a collaborative, design-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage architectural projects through all RIBA work stages, from concept to completion.
Coordinate internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Prepare and manage drawing packages, specifications, and planning applications.
Oversee site activity, respond to RFIs, and ensure compliance with building regulations and contract documents.
Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
Ensure that projects remain on programme, within budget, and meet design intent and statutory requirements.
Support junior team members and contribute to a positive studio culture.
Required Skills and Experience
ARB-registered architect with a minimum of 3–5 years post-Part III experience.
Proven experience leading medium to large-scale UK projects across multiple RIBA stages.
Strong Revit proficiency is essential, with the ability to lead BIM workflows.
Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policy, and construction detailing.
Strong communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Desirable Skills
Experience in sectors such as education, mixed-use, or commercial workplace.
Knowledge of project delivery under traditional and D&B contracts.
Experience with BIM360, Navisworks, and NBS specification tools.
