Summary

A West London based developer are looking for an experienced Project Architect to join their team. As an in-house Project Architect, you will manage construction projects on-site and ensure they are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget.

The current project they are recruiting for is a £5million residential project. But with scope to work on commercial and hospitality projects in the future. The company also provides consultancy and project monitoring to private equity firms, and are keen for the right candidate to get involved and help support these service form time to time.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction process on-site, ensuring quality standards are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with the design team to ensure that the construction process is in line with the project’s design intent.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including cost control and schedule management.
  • Liaise with the client and other stakeholders to provide regular project updates.
  • Manage and motivate a team of architects and other construction professionals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience managing construction projects on-site as a Project Architect
  • Strong project and budget management skills, including contract administration experience
  • Experience with residential, commercial, or hospitality developments
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and standards
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks preferred but not essential, the company are open minded to you using your preferred software
