A well-established London architecture studio is looking for an Experienced Architect to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a design-focused and technically skilled architect with a passion for residential work to take on projects from concept to on-site delivery.
The Project Architect Role:
You’ll play a key role in delivering a variety of high-quality residential projects across London, from bespoke refurbishments and extensions to full-scale modernisations. The role offers full involvement across all stages, including design, planning, technical detailing, and site supervision.
Responsibilities for this Project Architect Role:
Lead and manage projects through all RIBA stages, from concept to completion
Prepare planning applications, technical drawings, and tender packages
Coordinate with consultants including structural engineers and surveyors
Contribute to interiors and FF&E design – fittings, finishes, lighting, and joinery
Liaise with clients and local authorities to ensure compliance and approvals
Oversee construction on site, ensuring quality and resolving issues as they arise
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the studio’s design culture
About You:
Qualified Architect with significant post-qualification experience (minimum 3 years) in residential projects (ideally London-based)
Strong technical skills with knowledge of building control, tendering, and construction detailing
Confident in design and visual communication (sketching, CAD/BIM, 3D visualisation)
Interest or experience in interior architecture
Excellent organisational skills – able to manage multiple projects at different stages
Strong client-facing ability with excellent communication skills
A collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with consultants and contractors
