Project Architect – Heritage Projects
Location: London (Hybrid working)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
I’m currently working with a fantastic, well-established architectural practice on the lookout for a talented Project Architect to join their busy London studio and take ownership of projects from start to finish. They’re known for their design-led approach and exciting heritage and conservation projects.
This role offers a brilliant opportunity to work across a variety of schemes, combining your technical expertise with a passion for beautiful, considered design. If you’re ARB-registered, have a few years of post-Part 3 experience, and you enjoy working collaboratively in a supportive environment, this could be the perfect next step for you.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading projects through all RIBA stages, ensuring high standards and smooth delivery
Managing relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors confidently
Supporting and coordinating internal teams to keep projects moving forward
Producing and checking detailed design and technical drawings
Contributing to conservation and heritage-led schemes — ideal if you have experience or an interest in this area
Who they’re looking for:
ARB-registered architect with 3+ years post-Part 3 UK practice experience
Strong technical and design skills, with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in AutoCAD and NBS; experience with Revit is advantageous
Knowledgeable about UK Building Regulations and planning processes
A confident communicator, organised, and able to manage your workload effectively
Experience or keen interest in conservation and heritage architecture is highly desirable
