Project Architect Role Summary
An award-winning architecture and design practice in London, working across a diverse range of projects, is seeking a Project Architect to work on residential schemes. From concept to completion, the practice’s approach is rooted in collaboration, attention to detail, and a dedication to design excellence. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience across the full project lifecycle – from concept design through to construction, installation, and handover – with a particular focus on sustainable residential design. They will be responsible for day-to-day project coordination, managing workflows, and providing guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on residential-led projects, from early concept through to delivery.
- Prepare outline and detailed planning applications, including design codes.
- Contribute strong design ideas and support the development of project concepts.
- Produce and review technical drawings and design packages.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, consultants, and clients to achieve successful outcomes.
- Ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and within scope.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years’ post-qualification experience as an Architect.
- Proven project management experience on residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and residential design standards.
- Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent design skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
