Project Manager Role – HAUS Careers is proud to represent a growing and well-regarded architecture and construction practice in central London, working on prestigious large-scale developments, including several 5-star hotel projects. As their portfolio continues to grow, the studio is now seeking a driven and detail-focused Project Manager to join their team.
This role is perfect for either a seasoned Project Manager with experience in the architectural or construction sectors, or a Senior Architect with solid delivery and on-site experience who is ready to step into a more focused project management role.
About the Project Manager Role:
This is a hands-on, site-focused position, where you will take an active role in managing the day-to-day coordination of high-profile projects – primarily luxury hotel builds in central London. You will be expected to liaise closely with contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth delivery across all stages of construction.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of architectural workflows and UK construction processes, excellent communication skills, and a natural ability to keep things on track. You’ll be working directly alongside the in-house design team and external stakeholders, ensuring that high standards are met across quality, timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate project delivery from post-planning through to completion
Act as the main point of contact between design team, contractors, consultants and clients
Oversee and manage site-based activity, including construction progress and issue resolution
Ensure all works are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget
Review technical information and manage the flow of documentation across the team
Attend and lead site meetings, taking ownership of actions and follow-ups
Assist in the development and management of project programmes
Monitor health and safety compliance and report accordingly
Key Requirements:
Prior experience working as a Project Manager in architecture, construction or property
OR a qualified Architect with strong delivery experience and a desire to move into project managementProven experience working on UK-based large-scale projects (hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use)
Comfortable working on-site and in-office full-time – this is not a remote or hybrid role
Excellent understanding of UK construction methods, regulations and delivery
Confident leading meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
A proactive, practical approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Clear communicator with a professional and approachable manner
