Project Manager Role Summary
We are currently working with a growing and well-regarded architecture and construction practice in central London, who are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a flagship luxury hotel project. The practice works on prestigious large-scale developments, including several 5-star hotel projects. This is a pivotal role overseeing the full lifecycle from concept through to opening, with a strong emphasis on quality, stakeholder management, and brand alignment.
This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with proven experience delivering high-end hospitality or luxury residential projects, and who understands the level of detail and coordination required to meet world-class standards.
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of programme, budget, and overall delivery, ensuring the project is executed seamlessly and in line with both client and operator expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Delivery
Lead the full project lifecycle from concept through to completion
Develop and manage programme, budget, and project resources
Ensure delivery aligns with brand standards and operational requirements
Design & Quality Management
Coordinate architects, designers, and consultants to achieve high-end finishes
Review drawings, specifications, and mock-ups for quality assurance
- Oversee materials selection, sample approvals, and bespoke detailing
Ensure compliance with luxury hotel brand standards (e.g., Marriott, Hilton, Four Seasons)
Stakeholder Management
Act as the main point of contact for clients, investors, and operators
Manage relationships with high-profile stakeholders
Ensure operational requirements (guest flow, back-of-house) are integrated
Construction Oversight
Monitor site progress and ensure quality aligns with design intent
Manage contractor and subcontractor performance
Resolve technical and coordination issues across disciplines
Commercial & Contract Management
Oversee budget, cost reporting, and value engineering
Administer contracts (JCT/NEC) and manage variations and claims
Approve payments and track financial performance
Handover & Completion
Manage testing, commissioning, and final inspections
Oversee snagging and defect resolution
Coordinate FF&E installation and ensure readiness for opening
Key Requirements
Proven experience delivering luxury hotel or high-end hospitality projects
Strong understanding of high-quality fit-out and finishes
Knowledge of hotel operations and guest experience design
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience
Ability to manage complex, fast-paced projects
Desirable:
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, PMP or similar)
Experience working with international hotel brands
Familiarity with BIM and project management tools
Location: Central London
Working arrangement: On site or in the office
