Summary
A successful medium-sized practice is looking for a well-rounded Project Manager with a background in interior fit-out design to join its growing team in Central London. The role will require you to be confident across a range of skills including design, technical packages and specifications, contractor coordination and working on-site.
The initial project will be a large-scale private healthcare interior fit-out in West London, due to last about 18 months. There is an opportunity to work across a healthy mix of project types in the future within the commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, and healthcare sectors. The team is made up of a mix of Architects, Interior Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers.
The ideal person will have 5-8 years of experience in practice, with skills in communication, leading projects, capable of leading junior team members, and proficiency in Vectorworks.
Job description:
- Part III accreditation or Interior Architecture qualification
- Experience working on complex interior fit-out projects in the UK, ideally within the commercial, residential, care home, retail, hospitality, mixed-use or healthcare sector(s)
- Proficiency in Vectorworks on Mac, Adobe Suite, and Sketchup
- Sound knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and Standards and ability to respond to and resolve issues on site
- Excellent communication skills, ability to coordinate with designers, consultants and M&E contractors
- Experience producing FF&E schedules and liaising with suppliers
- A keen eye for detail, ability to work independently, can lead a team and work well with clients
- A willingness to work on-site, CSCS card holder highly desirable
- The right to live and work in the UK
