Job Description for this Middle Weight Interior Designer Role

  • Creative contribution to all project aspects, emphasising exceptional design.
  • Development of mood boards and 2D / 3D design presentations, aiding in tender proposal creation.
  • Management of sample ordering and compilation of finishes boards.
  • Guidance of Junior Designers, demonstrating problem-solving skills and mentorship capabilities.
  • Participation in site surveys and client meetings as required.
  • Production of working drawings using REVIT and specifications (finishes and furniture), with team support.
  • Management of diverse workload across multiple projects to meet client deadlines and expectations.
  • Contribution to the growth of the commercial interiors team within the practice.
  • Collaboration with the project team, reporting to the Design Director.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills Necessary for this Middle Weight Interior Designer Role

  • A positive, and optimistic attitude and a true passion for innovative design.
  • An all-rounded designer, keen to be exposed to all phases of the design process, from concept to completion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • At least 2 years industry experience preferably in the commercial sector.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Extensive understanding of FF&E sourcing.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Strong 3D skills using SketchUp.
  • Must have a degree in Interior Design.
