Summary

We are currently seeking a confident Senior Architect with Data Centre experience for top practice in Central London. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with clients, oversee a team in the UK, and collaborate with the practice’s  support hub in Asia. The firm is conveniently located near multiple overground and underground stations, providing excellent accessibility.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of project requirements.
• Lead and manage architectural projects within the data centre sector in the UK and Europe.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.
• Oversee the production of high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct thorough research and stay up to date with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Coordinate and liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.

Skills and qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 10+ years of experience post Part 3 qualification.
• Possess a strong knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Demonstrate expertise in Stage 3 and 4 packages, including technical drawings and specifications.
• Previous experience working on data centre projects in the UK and Europe is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Revit software is preferred, but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive and innovative mindset, capable of providing creative solutions to architectural challenges.
