A well-established, design-led architecture and urban design studio is seeking a Senior Architect to join its London team. The practice is known for delivering large-scale residential-led developments that carefully integrate architecture, landscape and urban design, shaping places from city scale through to the human experience.

With a growing portfolio of complex residential and mixed-use projects across London, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect to take on a leadership role within a collaborative and forward-thinking studio environment.

The Role

As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in leading residential projects through multiple stages, from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery. Depending on the project, you may be working as part of a wider team or leading a small group, contributing both technically and creatively.

You will be expected to take ownership of packages, coordinate with consultants, and support junior team members, while maintaining a high level of design quality and technical rigour.

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant post-qualification experience within UK architectural practice

  • Strong knowledge of UK residential design, regulations and technical standards

  • A solid understanding of UK residential planning policy

  • Proficiency in Revit and/or MicroStation within a professional environment

  • A high level of design awareness, clearly demonstrated through a strong portfolio

  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal

  • The ability to work accurately, with close attention to detail and quality

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and residence in the UK at the time of application

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience leading a small team and reviewing the work of others

  • Technical delivery experience to RIBA Stages 4–5

  • Strong presentation skills using Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience with 3D modelling software such as Rhino and rendering tools

  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong collaboration skills

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary of £55,000 – £60,000, depending on experience

  • Access to a confidential wellbeing and support service

  • Ongoing professional development and mentoring opportunities

  • Workplace pension contribution

  • Subsidised Cycle to Work initiative

  • Eye care contributions

  • Complimentary refreshments available in the studio

  • Additional studio shutdown over the Christmas and New Year period, on top of annual leave
