Summary

A captivating opportunity awaits an experienced Senior Architect/Architectural Technologist to step into the role of Project Lead within a dynamic Design Team. This pivotal position will primarily focus on a major fire safety and recladding project in the London Borough of Brent, supported operationally and administratively by their Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Home and Site-Based Working: Blend the advantages of home-based and on-site work to ensure project efficiency.
  • Technical Design Drawings: Produce technical design drawings for RIBA Work Stage 2 to 6, encompassing both new build and refurbishment residential schemes.
  • Revit Modeling: Create 3D Revit models from concept design to construction issue information, ensuring seamless project progression.
  • Project Management: Simultaneously manage multiple projects, producing working drawings/specifications, and reviewing/amending similar work drafted by others.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend client meetings and engage on-site, collaborating with contractors and providing technical advice as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Residential Expertise: Possess experience in residential and housing projects.
  • Contractual Knowledge: Familiarity with both Traditionally designed and Design & Build Contracts.
  • Qualifications: Hold a RIBA/MCIAT qualification.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge and experience in AutoCad; familiarity with Revit is desirable but not essential.
  • Technical Aptitude: Demonstrate strong technical abilities in various construction forms.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Experience in Building and Planning regulations/procedures.
  • Autonomous Worker: A self-starter with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and written articulation skills.
  • Team Player: Collaborate effectively within a team and exhibit leadership skills to support junior team members.
