An established and design-focused architectural practice in Central/West London is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect / Associate to join their senior leadership team for a 10-month maternity cover. This is a crucial, strategic role with the potential to become permanent.
You will operate as a senior job runner across multiple live projects – managing both teams and client relationships. The ideal candidate will be confident, collaborative, and capable of leading from the front, representing the practice with professionalism and clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, rather than focusing on a single scheme
Manage internal teams, consultants, and client relationships across all project stages
Contribute to high-level project strategy and delivery, supporting directors as part of the senior team
Maintain quality across output and ensure efficient workflows using Vectorworks
Required Skills & Experience:
5–8+ years post-Part III experience
Proven track record of running complex residential and mixed-use projects
Excellent client-facing and consultant coordination skills
Strong Vectorworks proficiency is essential
Good working knowledge of InDesign and BIM workflows
Comfortable working at Associate/Senior/Director level
