Senior Architect Role – HAUS Careers is delighted to be working with an award-winning, design-led architecture practice based in the heart of Clerkenwell. This ambitious and collaborative studio is looking for Senior Architects to join their growing team and take the lead on a range of complex, high-value projects across the commercial, residential, workplace, heritage, and creative reuse sectors.

The Senior Architect Role:
As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of complex architectural projects – from early concept through to technical design and delivery on site. You’ll be expected to contribute creatively while also demonstrating leadership, technical rigour, and confidence with clients and consultants alike.
Projects typically range from £10m to £200m in construction value, requiring strong organisational skills and an eye for detail. You will join a dynamic team who work across a rich variety of sectors and scales, both in the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to high-quality design and technical packages across all RIBA stages, especially Stages 3 and 4
Interpret design direction and deliver work to the highest standards
Confidently present ideas and updates to clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Contribute to project planning, programme development, and design deliverables
Mentor junior team members and lead by example within the studio
Produce and review detailed drawings, specifications, and Revit models
Ensure full compliance with current UK Building Regulations and construction best practice
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience delivering complex architectural projects valued between £10m–£200m
Excellent design sensibility and strong technical capability
Significant experience working through all RIBA stages, especially delivery phases
Confident communicator and presenter, both internally and externally
Ability to manage project programmes and oversee key deliverables
Expert knowledge of UK construction methods, materials, and detailing
Proficient in Revit (essential) and Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent sketch and verbal communication skills
Motivated to grow within a collaborative and ambitious team
