HAUS is working with a leading, design-driven architectural practice in West London to appoint a Senior Architect with a strong background in international competition work. This role is ideal for a conceptually sharp designer who thrives in fast-paced bid environments and has a proven track record contributing to — and leading — successful competition submissions on the global stage.
The studio is widely recognised for its thoughtful, highly crafted architecture across cultural, commercial, hospitality and residential sectors. With a growing international profile and an ambitious pipeline of competition-led projects, they are looking to strengthen their senior team with someone who can help shape design narratives from the earliest stages.
The Role
Take a leading role in the development and delivery of international competition bids
Drive concept design, spatial strategies and architectural narratives from day one
Produce and oversee high-quality design material, including drawings, diagrams and presentation packs
Work closely with Directors and senior team members to shape bid strategy and design direction
Coordinate input from wider teams and consultants during competition phases
Support the transition of successful bids into live projects where required
Maintain design excellence while working to tight deadlines
About You
Senior Architect with demonstrable experience working on international architectural competitions
Strong concept designer with a clear, rigorous design approach
Highly proficient in Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite; Revit experience essential
Confident producing competition-level drawings, visuals and presentation material
Experience across cultural, commercial or large-scale mixed-use projects
Comfortable working at pace, juggling multiple deadlines and design iterations
Clear communicator with the confidence to contribute ideas at senior level
