Senior Architect Role Summary

Data Centres | Central London | £60,000 – £70,000 | REVIT | Hybrid Working – 2 Days WFH

We’re looking for a Senior Architect to work with a well-established, highly respected architecture practice with a strong foothold in the data centre sector. Following a series of major project wins, the studio is continuing to grow and is now looking to bring in a Senior Architect to play a key role in project leadership and delivery.

This is a senior, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys leading teams, managing clients, and driving technically complex projects forward.

The Role

You’ll be leading the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across the UK and wider EMEA region, working across RIBA Stages 3–4 and beyond. This role combines design oversight with strong technical leadership — ideal for someone who is confident balancing client interaction, team management and project delivery.

You’ll take ownership of projects, ensuring they are well-coordinated, commercially aware, and delivered to a high standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading projects through key delivery stages, particularly RIBA Stages 3–4
  • Managing and mentoring project teams, providing clear direction and support
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
  • Overseeing design coordination across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high technical standard
  • Reviewing and guiding technical information and drawing packages
  • Working within a BIM-led environment, collaborating closely with technicians and consultants

What They’re Looking For

  • Experienced Senior Architect with a strong delivery background
  • Proven experience across RIBA Stages 3–4 on complex projects
  • Confident leading teams and managing project workflows
  • Strong client-facing skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving ability
  • Good working knowledge of Revit and BIM processes
  • Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion

Qualifications

  • ARB registered Architect (essential)
  • Relevant architectural qualification (Part 3 or equivalent)

Why This Role?

  • Join a growing practice with a strong pipeline of secured work
  • Opportunity to lead large-scale, technically complex projects across EMEA
  • Collaborative, delivery-focused studio environment
  • Clear progression within a specialist and expanding sector
  • Competitive salary with benefits package available post-probation

If you’re a Senior Architect who enjoys leading technically demanding projects and wants to be part of a growing, specialist sector, this is a strong opportunity with long-term potential.
