A leading UK architecture practice is looking for an Architect / Senior Architect with strong education sector experience to join its London studio. This role is ideal for someone who has delivered DfE school projects and is confident working across design and delivery within a structured, collaborative environment.
You’ll play a key role in shaping high-quality educational environments, contributing design thinking, technical rigour, and leadership across multiple projects.
The Role
Design and deliver school projects, with a focus on DfE-led frameworks
Lead projects through key work stages, from concept to completion
Coordinate with consultants, local authorities, and contractor teams
Act as a client-facing team member with responsibility for communication and delivery
Support project management, programme control, and technical quality
Mentor junior team members within project teams
Experience + Skills
Essential: proven schools experience, specifically Department for Education (DfE) projects
2–5 years post-qualification experience
Strong design and technical skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach
Advanced Revit skills (essential)
Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills
Leadership capability with experience managing project teams
ARB / RIBA / RIAS registered
Solid UK project experience and understanding of UK regulations and DfE standards
