With a strong ethos of responsible, contemporary design, this practice works across bespoke residential, hospitality and select commercial projects, delivering thoughtful architecture with real purpose. They are now seeking a Senior Architect to join their collaborative team, taking ownership of projects from early design through to completion.

The Role

The Senior Architect will play a key part in leading bespoke design projects within a close-knit, supportive team. You’ll balance hands-on creative design with technical delivery, client liaison and mentoring of junior team members.

This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys responsibility, and brings both creativity and precision to every stage of the architectural process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and teams across all RIBA stages

  • Run design and technical workshops, ensuring clarity and quality throughout

  • Oversee design development, detailing and specification for construction

  • Liaise directly with clients to address requirements and maintain strong relationships

  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery

  • Uphold design excellence and integrate sustainable, responsible design principles

  • Review team drawings and documentation, ensuring compliance and quality

  • Identify risks, manage project information and ensure timely delivery

  • Support the practice’s continuous improvement and contribute new ideas

About You

  • ARB-registered Architect with up to 5 years’ post-Part 3 experience

  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to run projects and small teams

  • Excellent communicator with confident client-facing experience

  • Well-organised, proactive and collaborative in approach

  • Strong design sensibility with a passion for detail and materiality

  • Sound knowledge of all RIBA work stages

  • Proficient in VectorworksMS Office, InDesign and Photoshop

  • Keen interest in sustainable and responsible design approaches

The Offer

  • £45,000 – £50,000 per annum

  • Hybrid working from home and a creative central London studio

  • Flexible working hours

  • Health and life insurance (after six months)

  • Pension scheme and ARB fee payment

  • Regular CPD, seminars and design workshops

  • Access to co-working perks including food, drink and wellness classes

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Architect seeking to make a meaningful contribution within a design-led, socially responsible practice that values creativity, technical excellence and collaboration.

If this sounds like your next step, apply today with your CV, portfolio and a short cover letter outlining your experience and availability.
