HAUS Careers is delighted to be on the lookout for a Senior Architect to work with a progressive, award-winning architecture and interiors studio based in London, known for creating exceptional spaces that blend creativity, craft and technical rigour.
With a strong ethos of responsible, contemporary design, this practice works across bespoke residential, hospitality and select commercial projects, delivering thoughtful architecture with real purpose. They are now seeking a Senior Architect to join their collaborative team, taking ownership of projects from early design through to completion.
The Role
The Senior Architect will play a key part in leading bespoke design projects within a close-knit, supportive team. You’ll balance hands-on creative design with technical delivery, client liaison and mentoring of junior team members.
This role suits someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys responsibility, and brings both creativity and precision to every stage of the architectural process.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects and teams across all RIBA stages
Run design and technical workshops, ensuring clarity and quality throughout
Oversee design development, detailing and specification for construction
Liaise directly with clients to address requirements and maintain strong relationships
Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
Uphold design excellence and integrate sustainable, responsible design principles
Review team drawings and documentation, ensuring compliance and quality
Identify risks, manage project information and ensure timely delivery
Support the practice’s continuous improvement and contribute new ideas
About You
ARB-registered Architect with up to 5 years’ post-Part 3 experience
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to run projects and small teams
Excellent communicator with confident client-facing experience
Well-organised, proactive and collaborative in approach
Strong design sensibility with a passion for detail and materiality
Sound knowledge of all RIBA work stages
Proficient in Vectorworks, MS Office, InDesign and Photoshop
Keen interest in sustainable and responsible design approaches
The Offer
£45,000 – £50,000 per annum
