Senior Architect Role Summary
Haus Careers is proud to represent a design-led architecture and urbanism studio, currently seeking a Senior Architect to join their collaborative team based in Blackfriars, London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in delivering large-scale residential projects in the UK, from detailed design through to construction.
The Role
You will be joining a dynamic and creative team, contributing to multiple residential-led schemes at varying stages. The position requires someone with strong technical ability, excellent design sensibility, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. You will play a key role in project delivery, from spatial coordination and technical detailing through to site involvement and completion.
Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of five years’ post-Part III UK experience, and be confident across all project stages, particularly Stages 3–6.
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrable experience in delivering large-scale residential projects in the UK
High proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows
Deep understanding of UK Building Regulations, London Plan, and NDSS (Nationally Described Space Standards)
Proven experience producing tender and construction documentation
Familiarity with NBS specifications
Strong technical knowledge, including brick cladding systems and construction detailing
Experience in working with Building Control and managing planning condition discharges
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong organisational and time management skills
Experience in attending and coordinating with site teams
You Should Be Confident In:
Leading the day-to-day management of projects
Coordinating with consultants, local authorities, and subcontractors
Supervising and mentoring small teams (1–3 people)
Communicating clearly and confidently on design and technical matters

The studio is based in a vibrant, design-focused workspace in Blackfriars, a short walk from the Thames and excellent transport links. The team values collaboration, creativity, and the balance of concept with delivery.
