We’re working with a people-focused, collaborative studio in Central/East London that is looking to appoint a Senior Architect to play a key role in delivering innovative residential schemes. The Role
As a Senior Architect, you will take ownership of complex residential projects from concept through to completion. Working within a dynamic and collaborative studio, you’ll lead project teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure the delivery of exceptional design and technical standards.
Beyond project work, you’ll contribute to a positive studio culture that extends outside the office, with regular social events, team lunches, and occasional trips. Overtime is rare, reflecting a genuine commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage residential projects from inception to completion
- Ensure design excellence, technical accuracy, and compliance with UK Building Regulations (including Part L and Part B – Fire Safety)
- Oversee Revit workflows, producing detailed design and construction packages
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
- Manage budgets, programmes, and project quality, identifying and mitigating risks
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment
- Ensure compliance with ARB guidelines and RIBA Plan of Work stages
- Contribute to wider studio initiatives and the future direction of the practice
About You
- ARB-registered Architect with 6+ years post-qualification experience, primarily in residential projects
- Strong expertise in Revit and delivering projects through all RIBA stages
- Proven leadership experience managing both projects and teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative, approachable individual who values a people-first culture
