A leading, employee-owned architectural and heritage consultancy is seeking a talented Senior Conservation Architect to join its London studio.

The Role
You will join a specialist architectural and heritage team working on major cultural and public sector projects, delivering conservation schemes across all RIBA stages and at a variety of scales.
The role will involve taking a senior technical and design-lead position within project teams and contributing to wider studio leadership.
Responsibilities include:
Leading conservation projects from early surveys through to construction
Undertaking building condition surveys and fabric analysis
Producing conservation strategies and detailed design proposals
Preparing planning and listed building consent applications
Delivering technical packages and overseeing construction on site
Managing consultants and collaborating with heritage specialists
Contributing to studio-wide knowledge sharing and design culture
About You
We are keen to speak with Senior Architects who demonstrate a deep-rooted passion for historic buildings and outstanding conservation design, supported by high-quality built work.
Essential Experience
ARB registered with a minimum of 6 years’ post-Part 3 experience in a UK-based practice
Strong experience delivering conservation projects across all RIBA stages
Proven ability to lead conservation-led design work
Confidence producing reports and client presentations
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning processes
Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit.
Highly organised, proactive and detail-driven
Demonstrable leadership and line-management experience
Desirable Skills
Accredited Conservation Architect (RIBA CA / SCA and/or AABC)
