Job Description for this Senior Designer Role

  • Dive into the heart of design excellence, overseeing high-profile hospitality projects from inception to realization.
  • Collaborate closely with Directors and Associates to shape the creative vision and ensure its flawless execution.
  • Lead the charge in design research, crafting compelling narratives that drive project concepts forward.
  • Champion the integration of innovative materials and design standards, maintaining the studio’s esteemed aesthetic across all phases.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and growth, guiding and mentoring team members towards their full potential.
  • Act as the face of the studio to clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring seamless communication and project progression.
  • Efficiently delegate tasks, ensuring smooth coordination between teams for optimal results.
  • Monitor project progression and profitability, maintaining alignment with client expectations.
  • Mentor team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK.

Skills Necessary for this Senior Designer Role

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sketch-Up.
  • Strong free-hand sketching skills and familiarity with 3D Studio Max and Rhino are advantageous.
  • Creative problem solver with a keen eye for design detail.
  • Solid technical and construction knowledge, coupled with strong managerial skills.
  • Thrive under pressure, delivering exceptional results while supporting team cohesion.
  • Must have a degree in Interior Design.
