Interior Architect Role Summary
A brilliant opportunity has just landed for a Interior Architect within a dynamic and growing housing developer based in the heart of Central London. They are seeking a confident and talented Interior Architect or Midweight Interior Architect to join their close-knit, design-led team. Known for creating luxury residential developments in partnership with some of London’s top architectural firms, this is an exceptional chance to make your mark on high-spec, design-conscious projects that blend architectural integrity with thoughtful interiors.
The Interior Architect Role
You’ll be stepping into a pivotal role, working from early concept through to completion, leading the interior design packages across a range of bespoke residential developments. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone with strong technical delivery skills, an exceptional eye for detail, and the ability to present confidently to clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership: Take the lead on the interiors scope across high-end residential schemes from RIBA Stage 2–5.
Technical Delivery: Work at Stage 4 with precision and clarity, preparing detailed design packages and FF&E schedules.
Client Liaison: Present ideas and progress to clients and consultants, managing expectations and ensuring a smooth delivery process.
Collaboration: Work alongside external architects, developers and internal teams to ensure consistency of design and vision across all touchpoints.
Mentoring: Support junior designers and contribute positively to the wider studio culture.
What We’re Looking For
Residential Expertise: Previous experience on high-end residential interiors is a must, ideally from a top-tier London studio or developer.
Software Proficiency: Excellent Revit skills are essential – you’ll need to hit the ground running and produce quality information from day one.
Client-Facing Confidence: A proactive and articulate designer, happy to take ownership and build strong client relationships.
Strong Technical Ability: Comfortably detail joinery, finishes, and bespoke furniture, understanding how design meets build.
Team Player: Friendly, collaborative, and positive – someone who thrives in a creative, driven team environment.
