Interior Architect Role Summary

A brilliant opportunity has just landed for a Interior Architect within a dynamic and growing housing developer based in the heart of Central London. They are seeking a confident and talented Interior Architect or Midweight Interior Architect to join their close-knit, design-led team. Known for creating luxury residential developments in partnership with some of London’s top architectural firms, this is an exceptional chance to make your mark on high-spec, design-conscious projects that blend architectural integrity with thoughtful interiors.

The Interior Architect Role

You’ll be stepping into a pivotal role, working from early concept through to completion, leading the interior design packages across a range of bespoke residential developments. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone with strong technical delivery skills, an exceptional eye for detail, and the ability to present confidently to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Ownership: Take the lead on the interiors scope across high-end residential schemes from RIBA Stage 2–5.

  • Technical Delivery: Work at Stage 4 with precision and clarity, preparing detailed design packages and FF&E schedules.

  • Client Liaison: Present ideas and progress to clients and consultants, managing expectations and ensuring a smooth delivery process.

  • Collaboration: Work alongside external architects, developers and internal teams to ensure consistency of design and vision across all touchpoints.

  • Mentoring: Support junior designers and contribute positively to the wider studio culture.

What We’re Looking For

  • Residential Expertise: Previous experience on high-end residential interiors is a must, ideally from a top-tier London studio or developer.

  • Software Proficiency: Excellent Revit skills are essential – you’ll need to hit the ground running and produce quality information from day one.

  • Client-Facing Confidence: A proactive and articulate designer, happy to take ownership and build strong client relationships.

  • Strong Technical Ability: Comfortably detail joinery, finishes, and bespoke furniture, understanding how design meets build.

  • Team Player: Friendly, collaborative, and positive – someone who thrives in a creative, driven team environment.

Perks and Culture

  • A genuinely supportive and inspiring studio, with clear career progression opportunities.

  • Work on high-profile, design-led homes in London’s most prestigious postcodes.

  • Enjoy a vibrant, central location and flexible working arrangements.

  • Generous salary package (£50k–£65k) based on experience.
