A renowned high-end residential and hospitality studio are in search of a senior interior designer with exceptional creativity and a keen eye for detail to collaborate closely with their Design Associates and Co-Founder. Senior Interior Designer Job Description

  • Executing tasks based on written or verbal briefs, clearly defining deliverables for each project phase and scope of work
  • Efficiently managing projects, adhering to schedules and budgets in collaboration with the Associate Director as a senior member of the project team
  • Providing guidance to the design team on live projects, articulating deliverables for each phase and scope of work
  • Creating concepts, mood boards, preliminary and final designs, as well as developing detailed plans for furniture, fixtures, and lighting layouts
  • Coordinating workflows with colleagues, 3D visualizers, and other team members
  • Formulating detailed designs and making material and finish selections
  • Overseeing technical drawing reviews and on-site details while taking responsibility for coordination
  • Mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level designers
  • Cultivating and expanding relationships with existing clients and suppliers
  • Collaborating closely with Directors/Associate Directors, demonstrating initiative in pursuing new business opportunities, and participating in industry networking events
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills Necessary for this Senior Interior Designer Role

  • A compelling portfolio highlighting your comprehensive design process expertise is a prerequisite
  • Demonstrated expertise in FF&E sourcing, encompassing a variety of items, with a focus on unique and bespoke pieces
  • Proven track record of on-site involvement, including installation activities
  • Outstanding communication skills and a high level of professionalism, particularly in client interactions
  • Strong organizational abilities and adept coordination skills are essential
  • A team-oriented individual with vibrant energy and a positive mindset is preferred
  • Team and project management experience
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are essential for this role
  • Knowledge of high-end residential and hospitality interior design, especially in the Middle East, is highly desirable
  • Must have a degree in Interior Design.
