A bespoke high-end residential studio is seeking a proven Senior Interior to join their team from their London office. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounded designer, strong at client facing and experienced in designing inspired interiors in the luxury residential sector. A small but growing studio, offering great flexibility, 2 days WFH and a lovely social atmosphere.

Job Description for this Senior Interior Designer Role

  • Take ownership of projects, overseeing them from conception to final delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by meeting with clients and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project.
  • Handle FF&E specification and procurement.
  • Create presentations including 3D models, 2D drawings, mock-ups, and renderings.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, maintaining existing relationships and establishing new ones.
  • Proactively address challenges to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Support and motivate team members, offering mentorship to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Conduct project meetings, delegate tasks, and establish clear timelines and goals for the design team.
  • Produce detailed joinery, elevations, plans, sections, and RCPs.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee project progress.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also capable of working independently.
  • Develop innovative design solutions to meet project requirements.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK.

Skills Necessary for this Senior Interior Designer Role

  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Extensive experience in high-end residential interior design.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong project management skills, including team leadership.
  • Thorough understanding of the entire design process.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Passion for high-end interior design and an awareness of current trends.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Must have a degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
