A charismatic and ambitious Notting Hill based developer is looking for a talented and driven Senior Interior Designer. This is small but growing company with a warm and friendly company culture. They have an exciting line up of city and coastal residential based projects coming up as well as a charming boutique hotel project. This is a permanent and highly flexible position with up to 3 days WFH available. The ideal candidate for this position is a strong all-rounder Senior Interior Designer that’s highly organised and proactive and should have at least 6 years’ experience in the luxury residential sector. This is a rare chance to level up your career in a position with a lot of autonomy and to be commercial involved in helping them further expand!

Job Description for this Senior Interior Designer Role

  • Lead and oversee the development and delivery of residential projects from concept to completion
  • Be hands on with site surveys and be involved in final installations.
  • Finalise the design space planning, layout, and colour coordination, including renovations and furnishings
  • Overlook the mood boards and take charge for client presentations.
  • Lead and attend meetings with client representatives, contractors, manufacturers, suppliers and consultants.
  • Provide regular project updates and progress reports to directors
  • Complete and ensure correct drawing packages
  • Design custom lighting and furniture
  • Support and mentor more junior designers

Skills Necessary for this Senior Interior Designer Role

  • Must have at least 6 years’ experience in the luxury residential sector
  • Some existing management experience required
  • Existing experience in training, mentoring and onboarding new designers is ideal
  • Experience in either AutoCAD or Vectorworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to visualize and articulate design concepts effectively using Adobe CS
  • Must have good Knowledge of suppliers / procurement, experience in Estimac / equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and thorough on site and installation experience
  • Proactive, adaptable, and stay updated on industry trends
  • A degree in Interior Design / Architecture or equivalent
