A highly respected London-based architecture and interior design practice is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their collaborative, creative team. Known for its thoughtful approach to context, community and craft, this studio delivers projects across workplace, residential and hospitality sectors — always with a strong narrative and refined detail.

The Senior Interior Designer Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced interior designer to take the lead on key project elements, collaborating closely with senior leadership and design teams. You’ll have the confidence and clarity to present ideas to clients and stakeholders, as well as the drive to guide projects from concept through to delivery.

You’ll also mentor junior team members and play a part in evolving the studio’s culture, processes and design thinking.

You’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in interior design, ideally within top-tier design studios.
  • A track record of leading and delivering design concepts across all RIBA stages.
  • Confidence in client presentations and the ability to communicate design vision clearly.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations (Building Regs, London Plan, BCO).
  • Strong detailing skills, with a deep understanding of materials, construction and coordination.
  • Fluency in Revit is essential, alongside proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp, Enscape, Excel and Word.
  • Outstanding organisational and leadership skills — capable of juggling multiple timelines and managing team workflows with ease.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading key elements of complex interior projects with support from the project leader.
  • Developing strategic design direction and evolving it through delivery stages.
  • Coordinating with consultants, suppliers, and wider project teams.
  • Allocating tasks and supporting junior team members.
  • Championing quality control, design standards and efficient workflows.
  • Staying up-to-date with sustainable design approaches and emerging technologies.

Studio Life & Perks

This studio champions a healthy work-life balance and a strong sense of community. With a lively, collaborative culture, you’ll enjoy working in beautifully designed offices that double as a social hub.

Benefits include:

  • Private medical cover
  • Enhanced pension contributions
  • 20+ days annual leave plus office closure at Christmas
  • Subsidised lunches and weekly sports activities
  • Rooftop members’ club access
  • Annual studio trips abroad and regular social events
  • Cycle to Work scheme and flexible working policies
