Senior Interior Designer Role Summary
Luxury Residential & Hospitality
A highly regarded, design-led studio is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its London team. Known for delivering refined, detail-driven interiors across high-end private residences and hospitality schemes internationally, this is an opportunity to take a leading role on beautifully crafted projects from concept through to completion.
This position suits a confident designer with a strong creative voice, excellent leadership skills and the ability to take full ownership of projects with minimal oversight.
The Role
You will lead projects across all stages, setting the creative direction while managing both team and client relationships. Working on medium to large-scale schemes in the UK and abroad, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional design quality and seamless delivery.
- Lead projects from concept to installation with full creative ownership
- Interpret client briefs quickly and translate them into compelling design narratives
- Produce high-quality presentations, mood boards and visualisations
- Oversee space planning, technical drawing packages and bespoke detailing
- Manage and mentor junior designers, supporting their development
- Present confidently to clients and stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on brief and to the highest standards
FF&E & Procurement
- Manage complex, high-value FF&E budgets end-to-end
- Oversee procurement, supplier coordination and installation schedules
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery to site
- Maintain and build strong relationships with suppliers and makers
- Lead on bespoke furniture and joinery design, including tender and shop drawing review
Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in luxury interior design
- Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (or equivalent)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end residential or hospitality projects
- Proven experience leading projects and managing teams
- Excellent eye for detail with a refined design sensibility
- Strong knowledge of bespoke furniture and joinery
- Highly organised with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Software:
AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp (essential)
Esti-PC and/or ArchiCAD (advantageous)
