Senior Interior Designer Role Summary:
A highly respected international interior design and architecture studio is looking for a talented Mid-weight or Senior Interior Designer to join their London-based team. With a studio of 35+ designers and interior architects, this practice is known for delivering exceptional high-end residential projects with a signature look of modern luxury.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on both UK and international projects from concept through to completion, within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
The Right Candidate Will Have:
UK residency or a valid UK work visa (essential)
A full, clean driving licence – site visits are a must
Ability to work full-time in-studio in London
Fluent spoken and written English
A recognised qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
Multiple years’ experience in high-end residential design, ideally on medium to large scale projects with strong FF&E knowledge
A comprehensive understanding of the full design process
Project leadership experience from concept to completion, including on-site and contractor coordination
Client-facing skills – confident in presentations, meetings, and managing relationships
Excellent time management, organisation, and ability to juggle multiple projects
You’ll Also Be Able To:
Lead design presentations and manage client communications with professionalism
Bring creative flair and inspire innovation within the studio
Work independently, and mentor junior designers
Deliver full FF&E packages and specifications to an exceptional standard
Maintain strong supplier relationships and source exciting new materials
Key Skills Required:
Strong technical drawing ability
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop)
Experience using EstiPC is a plus
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Outstanding design and space planning skills with a sharp eye for detail, colour, and texture
Exceptional conceptual thinking and hand sketching ability
Strong knowledge of FF&E suppliers across furniture, lighting, fabrics, flooring, sanitaryware, etc.
Confident working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
Leading or supporting on both UK and international projects
Managing projects independently from concept to installation
Preparing detailed drawings, mood boards, and professional presentation packages
Sourcing, specifying, and scheduling FF&E and finishes within budget
Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Attending site visits and overseeing installation and styling
Staying up to date with industry trends and new products
