Senior Interior Designer Role Summary
Senior Interior Designer opportunity with a vibrant and well-recognised design studio in the heart of London. Known for its colourful, eclectic and traditional aesthetic, the studio delivers residential, commercial and property development projects, alongside an impressive portfolio of furniture collaborations and bespoke interior schemes that celebrate craftsmanship and individuality.
This role suits a confident Senior Interior Designer with strong creative flair, technical rigour and a collaborative mindset. You will lead projects from concept through to installation, overseeing design development, managing budgets and invoicing, producing detailed drawings and schedules, and coordinating closely with suppliers, contractors and specialist makers.

Key Responsibilities
Design Development
- Initiate and lead the creative development of interior design concepts
- Prepare mood boards, colour schemes and FF&E proposals aligned with project briefs
- Source fabrics, finishes and materials, maintaining awareness of trends and specialist suppliers
- Maintain design integrity and attention to detail across all project stages
Technical and Project Delivery
- Produce and revise layouts, drawings and detailed joinery designs using AutoCAD
- Create and manage client estimates, FF&E schedules and specifications
- Liaise with suppliers and workshops to ensure accuracy of production and timely delivery
- Attend site meetings, coordinate with contractors and resolve design queries
- Organise, manage and attend on-site installations and styling
Team and Client Coordination
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Prepare client presentations and supporting documentation for approvals
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and consultants, representing the studio’s standards and ethos
Studio Contribution
- Maintain sample libraries and supplier contact databases
- Support junior team members and interns with day-to-day project tasks
- Uphold the collaborative and creative studio culture
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a high-end interior design studio at senior level
- Proven ability to lead multiple high-value projects through all design and delivery stages
- Strong creative and technical skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and Estimac (or equivalent)
- Excellent knowledge of FF&E, bespoke joinery and material sourcing
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborative, adaptable and confident communicator
