A respected design-led practice is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join its London studio. Working across high-end private residential projects, you will take a leading role in delivery while acting as a trusted technical voice within the practice.
Lead beautifully crafted residential projects from concept through delivery within a boutique London studio known for refined architecture and interiors. This is a senior opportunity for a hands-on Architect to combine project ownership with technical leadership, helping shape standards across a collaborative team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, values design quality, and is confident steering projects through complex technical stages with minimal oversight.

The Role
Project Leadership
- Lead projects across RIBA Stages 2–5
- Take ownership from planning through delivery
- Drive design development, consultant coordination, and technical resolution
- Maintain momentum, programme, and quality throughout all stages
Technical Leadership
- Act as a senior technical reference point within the studio
- Lead complex detailing and buildability strategy
- Review drawing packages and advise on delivery approach
- Support Project Architects and wider team members
Design Quality & Coordination
- Lead Stage 3 and Stage 4 reviews
- Ensure coordination across disciplines
- Maintain design intent through technical development
- Raise overall technical consistency and QA standards
Client & Site Involvement
- Attend key client meetings as a senior architectural lead
- Build confidence through clear communication and expertise
- Support construction-stage queries and occasional site visits
About You
- ARB registered Architect or equivalent level of experience
- 6–12 years’ professional experience
- Strong technical knowledge across RIBA Stages 3–5
- Proven high-end residential experience, ideally in London
- Listed building / heritage experience highly desirable
- Excellent detailing and consultant coordination skills
- Confident decision-maker with a proactive mindset
- Able to balance design ambition with practical delivery
