Social Media Assistant Role Summary
A Social Media Assistant is required for a high-end interior design studio based in West London. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning, creation and execution of digital content. Working closely with the design, marketing and sales teams, you will help ensure the studio’s projects, products and brand values are communicated clearly and creatively online. This role suits someone with a passion for interiors, strong visual instincts and confidence working across multiple social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, scheduling and publishing of content across all social media channels, including Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Assist in creating digital content such as imagery, short-form video and stories
- Write engaging, concise copy that reflects the studio’s tone of voice
- Assist on photoshoots and capture behind-the-scenes content when required
- Support the preparation of client presentations when needed
- Monitor social trends and propose relevant, brand-appropriate ideas
- Engage with the audience, respond to messages and enquiries and help manage online interactions
- Organise and maintain digital assets and assist with basic performance reporting
- Collaborate with the sales team on product launches, online enquiries and promotional activity
- Work closely with the design and marketing teams to translate projects into compelling digital narratives
- Occasionally attend events to capture video content and key social moments
Skills
- Ability to film and edit content using both a smartphone and a DSLR camera
- Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and InDesign
- Strong copywriting skills and an understanding of consistent brand tone

- Interested in interiors, design and luxury brands
- Confident using social media creatively and understanding platform-specific audiences
- Detail-oriented with strong visual and written accuracy
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience within a creative, luxury or design-led brand is desirable but not essential
