Studio Manager Role Summary

A brilliant architecture and interior design practice based in Bermondsey is looking for a new Studio Manager to help ensure the smooth running of their vibrant studio. The practice work on commercial, leisure and hospitality projects around the globe.

Key Responsibilities for this Studio Manager Role

Studio Management:
  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
  • Manage studio supplies, equipment, and maintenance, coordinating with service providers and IT support.
  • Act as the primary contact for external stakeholders and contribute to senior management.
  • Organise studio events such as showroom visits and Lunch & Learns.
HR Assistance:
  • Collaborate with an external HR consultancy to manage HR software and the onboarding process.
  • Assist with recruitment activities and support the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Oversee employee relations, coordinating staff reviews and maintaining a positive workplace environment.
Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative assistance to senior management.
  • Plan and execute internal company events and support new business initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date frameworks and collaborate on business opportunities and RFP responses.
Marketing & Social Media:
  • Manage company PR and social media presence on Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Oversee website management and liaise with PR consultants on events and press releases.

Skills Necessary:

  • 2-5 years previous experience working in a studio
  • Confidentiality and professionalism
  • Detail-oriented and pro-active
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of InDesign
