Studio Manager Role Summary
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

Haus Careers is partnering with a boutique, design-led architecture studio in Bloomsbury to find an organised, proactive Studio Manager for a 12-month maternity cover (full- or part-time considered). This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the smooth running of a busy creative practice.
The Role
You’ll be the go-to person who keeps the studio running efficiently day to day. From operations and HR to marketing and new business support, you’ll play a central role in the studio’s organisation and culture.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations
Oversee daily studio management, ensuring a professional, well-organised environment
Manage Health & Safety compliance
Monitor shared inboxes and coordinate the studio diary
Lead weekly admin meetings and track actions
Organise studio events, trips and socials
Support the rollout of new QA procedures
Marketing & Communications
Keep the website up to date and help deliver a recent rebrand
Plan and create social media content
Coordinate press activity, photography and marketing materials
Work closely with directors and an external PR consultant
Business Development
Support weekly new business meetings and maintain trackers
Research potential leads, competitions and frameworks
Assist with client hospitality and diary support
HR & Finance Support
Liaise with external HR consultants; maintain policies and compliance
Manage recruitment processes from job adverts to onboarding
Coordinate reviews, CPDs and staff development
Process expenses, issue invoices and maintain financial schedules
Skills & Experience
Essential
Studio management or PA experience within an architectural practice
Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail
Desirable
Marketing or comms experience
Confident with InDesign and graphic presentation
Software: Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, basic Xero
