A bespoke high-end residential and commercial studio is seeking a Talented Senior FF&E Stylist and Product Designer, with a high calibre of local supplier and bespoke FF&E knowledge, to join their team in West London. The ideal candidate will have team management skills at a Senior level, extensive knowledge of FF&E selection and procurement, and a keen understanding and passion for furniture and product design. Senior FF&E Stylist and Product Designer Job Description

  • Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their requirements and formulate design concepts aligned with their needs
  • Utilise Adobe CS software to produce detailed drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Investigate and acquire materials and products, including FF&E, for project implementation, with an emphasis on local luxury, bespoke items
  • Foster communication with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to guarantee timely and superior project delivery
  • Participate in site visits and meetings, engaging with clients and other stakeholders
  • Work in tandem with fellow designers, architects, and project managers to ensure the delivery of designs of the utmost quality
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills Necessary for this Senior FF&E Stylist and Product Designer Role

  • Extensive understanding of FF&E suppliers, as well as comprehensive knowledge of product and trade costs
  • Financial acumen in assessing project costs with a keen awareness of budget constraints
  • Enthusiasm and expertise in Art, Antiques, Furniture, Lighting, Textiles, and Objects
  • A talent for generating creative concepts
  • Exceptional attention to scale, balance, detail, and colour
  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in spoken and written English is a prerequisite
  • Demonstrated professional experience of 5 years in interior design, specifically emphasizing expertise in the luxury hospitality or residential sectors
  • Proficiency in utilising Adobe CS software
  • Acquired knowledge and practical experience in FF&E procurement and specification
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of local contacts and suppliers
