Technical Midweight Interior Designer Role Summary
We’re on the lookout for a Technical Midweight Interior Designer to join an acclaimed interior design studio known for its bold, high-end hospitality interiors – think sophisticated restaurants, standout bars, and members’ clubs with substance and style. With a growing number of projects in delivery, they’re seeking someone with a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of construction and tender packages.

The Role
You’ll be a key part of the project team, responsible for drawing, detailing, and coordinating high-end F&B interiors from Stage 3 onward. This is a true all-rounder role, where FF&E, joinery, and technical detailing all sit under one roof. Expect to get stuck into everything from spatial layouts to bespoke fittings.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality tender and construction drawing packages in AutoCAD
- Detail joinery and bespoke FF&E elements (loose and built-in)
- Support senior designers across multiple hospitality projects
- Assist in consultant coordination and project issue tracking
- Work collaboratively with the full team, contributing from design development through to delivery
- Attend site meetings and support technical resolution during construction
What They’re Looking For
- 4–5 years’ experience in high-end interior design, ideally with F&B or hospitality projects
- Strong technical skillset with demonstrable tender and construction pack experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Confident in producing detailed drawings, including joinery and bespoke FF&E
- A team player who’s happy to jump across design, detailing, and documentation
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative studio environment
