Urban Designer Role Key Requirements
- Bringing 1 – 3 years of post-qualified experience in a design practice, the successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of urban design principles and methodologies.
- Experience in large-scale urban design, masterplanning projects, new settlements, and high street revitalisation is crucial, demonstrating your ability to envision and execute transformative urban interventions.
- While a background in architecture is desirable, it is not essential; however, a strong foundation in design thinking and spatial analysis is highly valued.
- Exceptional communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, as well as proficiency in graphic communication tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, CAD, and hand-drawing techniques
