Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching

Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching

As each of us navigates the impact of Covid-19 on our lives we want to let you know, your not alone, and were here to help in any way that we can.

With the change of working from home or no work with many being put on furlough, and less physically socialising – it is understandable that some peoples identity, so often connected to our jobs, is being questioned. Have you heard that Wayne Dyer quote, ’If you are what you do, then when you don’t, you aren’t?

Read that again, and decide to drop the notion you are what you do. I am an Architectural recruiter…but before that I am me and I am still me when I am doing my job or not.

With that in mind, the team here have decided we can use any down time to help clients by keeping up to date on current trends and studies to ensure we know the best for you. So I thought it may be handy to share with you some of the home study courses some of us are learning about during this time – these are not endorsed by Haus – but purely us as individual creatives and interested in learning more about our sector.

  •  https://www.edx.org/ – Leading university courses from the likes of Harvard and Berkeley. Karen on are team is currently studying one of their Architectural / Urban courses ‘CitiesX: The Past, present and Future of Urban life’.
  • Udemy is a great platform with loads of course, here are their top Architectural Revit courses others have found helpful and all less than a takeaway meal: https://www.udemy.com/topic/revit/
  • The Open University has come great course as always, and one referred by an Architect moving into Project Architect, is this Project Management one: http://www.open.ac.uk/courses/short-courses/bg007
