BIM Coordinator Role Summary

Revit | BIM Coordination | Workplace Design & Fit-Out

We’re working with a leading workplace design and build practice in London that is looking for a BIM Coordinator to support the development and day-to-day management of BIM processes across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded Revit professional looking to develop their career within BIM, taking ownership of project setup, technical support, standards and digital workflows.

Working closely with the Head of Digital Transition, you’ll play an important role in improving how teams use Revit, maintaining project standards and introducing smarter, more efficient ways of working. There will also be opportunities to develop your skills in Dynamo, PyRevit and automation, with ongoing mentoring and support.

The Role

  • Manage Autodesk Forma projects, including user permissions, model organisation and external collaboration.

  • Set up Revit projects, managing shared coordinates, linked models, worksets and cloud collaboration.

  • Coordinate BIM kick-off meetings and produce project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).

  • Provide first-line Revit support, troubleshooting technical issues and helping colleagues get the most out of the software.

  • Monitor model health, performance and consistency across live projects.

  • Maintain and develop Revit templates, families, content libraries and company BIM standards.

  • Create practical training materials, guides and resources to support the wider team.

  • Develop and maintain Dynamo scripts and PyRevit tools to automate processes and improve project efficiency.

  • Work alongside senior digital leadership to introduce improved workflows, standards and technology across the practice.

About You

  • Practical experience using Revit within a live architectural or interior design environment.

  • Good understanding of BIM processes, including linked models, worksets, design options, phasing and family creation.

  • Experience developing or adapting Dynamo scripts and/or PyRevit tools.

  • An interest in automation, digital workflows and improving the way teams work.

  • Strong troubleshooting and organisational skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

  • A confident communicator who enjoys supporting, mentoring and sharing knowledge with others.

  • Proactive, approachable and keen to develop further within a BIM-focused position.

Desirable: Experience with Autodesk Forma, Enscape, Matterport, DiRoots, Python or the Revit API.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking workplace design practice where technology and innovation are central to project delivery. You’ll have the chance to work across a variety of exciting workplace projects, develop your technical expertise and gradually take greater ownership of BIM coordination and digital processes.

With direct mentoring from the Head of Digital Transition, this role offers a clear opportunity to grow into a more senior BIM-focused position.
