Working across luxury residential and hospitality projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and creatively minded designer looking to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion within a collaborative studio environment.
The Role
This is a genuinely all-round position where you will have the opportunity to manage project packages independently while working closely with senior designers and directors. You will be involved throughout the design process, from early concepts and presentations through to technical delivery and installation.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, technically confident and capable of producing detailed drawing packages and schedules to an exceptional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed drawing packages using AutoCAD
- Create and maintain FF&E schedules, specifications and procurement information
- Source materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and accessories
- Develop design concepts and presentation materials
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and consultants
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across project documentation
- Manage project packages from concept through to completion
- Support site coordination and project delivery
- Maintain exceptional levels of detail across drawings and schedules
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within an interior design studio
- Proven experience delivering residential and/or hospitality projects
- Strong AutoCAD skills are essential
- Proficiency in SketchUp
- Comfortable working within a Mac environment
- Experience producing comprehensive technical drawing packages
- Strong knowledge of FF&E specification and sourcing
- Excellent understanding of materials, finishes and suppliers
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
- Able to manage projects independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
