Senior Landscape Architect Role Summary
We are partnering with an established, design-focused studio seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to take a leading role within their growing team. They are recognised for delivering thoughtful, landscape-led projects across the public realm, housing, education, and large-scale masterplanning.
Role Overview
This position involves steering projects from early concept through to detailed design, managing teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality landscape schemes. You will develop design concepts, produce technical reports and detailed drawings, and coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and wider project consultants. The role includes direct client liaison, preparation of fee proposals, and the oversight of project budgets and programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and mentor junior landscape designers
Develop concept designs, feasibility studies, technical documentation, and specifications
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and external consultants
Manage project delivery to meet design quality, timelines, and budget requirements
Contribute to ambitious schemes across diverse sectors, including public realm and landscape-led masterplans
Skills & Qualifications
Strong design and technical capability, from sketch concepts to construction detailing
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
5–8+ years of post-graduate experience in landscape architecture
Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) or actively working towards chartership
